Day 8 – Mt Koya (Koyasan) – Final day before returning to Kyoto. Started the day with morning prayers, meditation & a fire ceremony. Followed up with sutra copying (shakyo). After a delicious shojin ryori meal, expertly prepared by the monestary monks, we were guided on a night tour of the famous Okunoin Cemetery to pay our respects to Kobo Daishi.
