Spacious 1st floor tatami room featuring a high sloping ceiling indicative of this style of building. Ideal for singles and spacious enough for couples, this room also incorporates it’s own kitchenette, as well as a private western bathroom/toilet. Bedding consists of 2 single futons which can be easily set side by side to present as a double. The room is equipped with a flat screen television offering cable and a wide range of programmes in various languages for your enjoyment. The reverse cycle air-conditioner provides relief from the hot Kyoto summer and warmth in winter. Essentials include bath towels, hand towels, hairdryer & all bed linen as well as coffee & tea making facilities, plates, cutlery plus refrigerator. Body soap, shampoo & conditioner are supplied in each room. An iron is available upon request. Please note - Meals are not included in the room rate, although guests are welcome to utilize the ground floor cafe during opening hours.

notes | Free Wi-Fi is available both in your room and the café lounge area for the duration of your stay. You may notice on arrival that there is no bedding in your room. This is to allow a more practical room space during the day. Two single futons are provided for guests in each room, complete with all linen including pillows and goose down duvets. Setting both futons side by side on the tatami creates a comfortable and spacious double bed for couples if required. Subsequently you have the choice of leaving the futons out for the remainder of your stay, or packing them away daily into the cupboard provided. Western style bedding is not available. PLEASE NOTE: Effective April 1st, 2005, Japanese legislation requires that all hotels and similar accommodation facilities must retain a copy of all non-resident, non-Japanese guests' passports. As a result, all non-resident, non-Japanese guests will be required to present their passports for photocopying when checking in. |
