My friend and I recently stayed at JamJar and took Danny’s guided Food and Sake tour. We would never have been able to experience the Kyoto food scene as authentically as we did without this tour! Danny took us into off the beaten path Izakayas that gave us the chance to feel and eat like locals. Also, I had some of the best pork belly I have ever tasted! Highly recommend this tour.

Really loved this tour.
It was great to be in a small group and have English speaking guides to help us order authentic Japanese food. We were able to try a lot more dishes than we would have if we were by ourselves – and the all of the food we tried was delicious. The sake bar was also a great experience. The guides were so friendly and made for a fantastic experience.. Would definitely recommend.
